Jay Prentiss was born and raised in New York and fell in love with skiing at a very young age. He was a ski racer in high school and always dreamed of living in Colorado. Jay ended up at Western State Colorado University and spent as much time as possible in the mountains skiing, climbing, biking, hiking, mountaineering and kayaking. He fell into photography for various companies and became a sponsored skier about 15 years ago. He has been fortunate enough to travel around the world on many different adventures. Jay also tests skis for many different brands and writes reviews.
