John Huston is a polar explorer John has completed major expeditions to the North Pole, South Pole, on Greenland, and most recently on Canada’s fabled Ellesmere Island. In 2009, he and his expedition partner became the first Americans to reach the North Pole unsupported – a self-sufficient and self-powered journey of 55 days and over 475 miles. A resident of Evanston, Illinois, John works as a motivational speaker, safety and logistics consultant, and guide.
