Chris Klinke is a high altitude mountaineer and has been a part of or a leader of countless Himalayan expeditions over the past decade. In 2008, Chris chose not to proceed to the summit of K2 on a day when one of the biggest tragedies in mountaineering history occurred. Chris is also an accomplished photographer with credits in Men’s Journal, Outside, GQ, Rock and Ice, Alpinist, and several newspapers around the world.
Mountaineering is a struggle between intense boredom followed by intense periods of activity.
