Erik Boomer is a professional photographer and whitewater kayaker that has been featured in numerous adventure films. In 2011, he and his adventure partner Jon Turk became the first to ever circumnavigate Canada’s Ellesmere Island – a 1500 mile journey that took 104 days. Erik Boomer was selected as one of the 2012 National Geographic Adventurers of the year.
It's really important to keep that tension between where you're at and where you want to be.
